      • We specialise in training both management and ship’s crews in ship inspection procedures including Port State Control (PSC) preparedness and ISM and ISPS awareness and practice.
      • Our Staff are experienced Marine Engineers, Naval Architects and Ship’s Masters whose combined experience in the areas of Statutory & Class survey, ship management and superintendency and of course their experience as ship’s officers bring a matchless quality to our training.
      • In addition to the PSC preparation, ISM and ISPS we can also develop and run specialist courses to cover any components of vessel operation you wish.

  • Superintendency Services
      • Repair – Shearforce Maritime Services can free up the time of permanent technical managers and superintendents by looking after your interests directly or by acting as assistants to your superintendents.
      • Operation – technical superintendency service in Far Eastern and Australian ports. Shearforce Maritime Services can assist the Master and Chief Engineer to identify requirements, organise and carry out whatever is necessary to minimise delays to the vessel.
      • Modification and dry-dock supervision – Shearforce Maritime Services can either look after your interests directly or assist your superintendents, thereby taking the weight off the shoulders of permanent technical managers and superintendents.
      • New building of ships – Shearforce Maritime Services can take the lead or act as assistants to your superintendents, ensuring they are able to focus on other projects and areas of priority
  •  Accident Investigations
      • Accidents, particularly when involving injury to ship’s staff or shore-workers, can be costly and traumatic. Shearforce Maritime Services carry out independent, unbiased investigations and provide an objective confidential report.
